Cylestine Agnes “Sally” Manguso was born on February 7, 1930 and passed away on February 22, 2017. Her parents were Agnes (Loehr) and Joseph Korst. She was born in North Dakota, the only daughter of eight children. She grew up in Great Falls, Mt. where she married her high school sweetheart. Sally and Louis settled in Colorado, spending the last 33 years in Parshall. They managed the Silver Spruce Senior Apartments for many years before enjoying their retirement.
Sally loved nothing more than being with her family. Countless memories were made while she helped raise her grandchildren and spoil her great-grandchildren. Sally was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Agnes Korst; her brothers Everett, Sylvester “Sy”, Bernard “Buck”, Gerald “Shorty”, Norbert, and Leroy. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Louis Manguso, her brother Calvin, her sons Donald (Cheryl); Michael (Victoria); as well as eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
There will be a Vigil on Thursday February 23, 2017 at 5:00 pm at the Grand County Mortuary. There will be a Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church in Kremmling on Saturday on February 25, 2017 at 10:00 am with a reception to follow.
