High Country Hideaway encourages spectators

The High Country Hideaway a muzzleloading and trap shoot competition returns to Kremmling this week for its 7th year. The event takes place from Wednesday, July 12- Sunday, July 16 at the Blue Valley Sportsman Club south of Kremmling on Highway 9.

The annual competition will see competitors from across the nation and offers muzzleloader shotgun, trap and skeet, and 5 stand shooting for men and women and juniors. The event is sanctioned by the National Muzzleloading Rifle Association and will have a variety of shotguns on hand.

Spectators are encouraged to attend and are even encouraged to ask for a practice shot. The event is 9 am- 4 pm and lunch is offered for $5 from 12 noon to 1 pm.
