Thank you to sponsors!

Ice Golf huge hit! Thank you to sponsors! The West Grand Booster Club, would like to thank everyone who helped make the 6th Annual Ice Hole Open Golf Tournament a huge success.

To all the participants, thank you for coming out and spending your day, supporting as well as making it a fun filled successful event. We had our biggest event this far with 23 teams enjoying a day on the ice. We had a three way tie for first place between Grip It and Sip It, Go-Nads and Car Ram Rod. Those teams donated their winnings back, thank you!

The following businesses each sponsored a hole: Middle Park Medical Center, T & C Concrete, Maximum Service, West End Liquors, Northwest Ranch Supply, Grand Mountain Bank, Parts City Auto, The Car Wash, Everist Materials, Grand Gazette, Town and Country Insurance, Granby Napa Auto Parts, Highland Tavern, Edward-Jones Granby Branch, Brendan and Shirl Gale, Troublesome Creek Fly Fishing, Peak to Peak, Antlers for Orphans, Hester’s Log & Lumber, and sponsoring the longest putt hole was Jilly’s.

There were many different door prizes given away and this couldn’t have been done without the donations from the following: The Well, Mountain Dragon, Badlands Outfitters, Renegade Off Road, Wolford Boat Rentals, Triple V Design, West End Liquors, Rocky Mountain Bar and Grill, Subway, Troublesome Meat Processing, Sysco, Murphy’s Tavern, Mountain Mama’s Embroidery, Snap- On Tools, Sandy and Chris Burandt, Los Amigos, Highland Tavern, Granby Napa. Thanks to the Kremmling Chamber for helping cover the insurance; Colorado River District for allowing us to use Wolford Reservoir for the event location; to Triple V Design for donating the posters; and Wolford Campground for waiving the day use fee.

Thank you to the three high school students, Hailey McNichols, Peyton Bodemann and Ivan Mendoza, along with Colton Bodemann, who spent all day working the Closest to Pin hole and the new Corn Holer game. Concessions were also worked by high schoolers Garrett Miller, Emily Vance and Anna Douglass, with proceeds going towards the After Prom Party.

The course was great with some sage brush and snow obstacles as an added touch. Thank you to the following individuals who spent their Friday afternoon preparing for the event; Chuck and Holly Martinson, Merritt Hooks, Colton Bodemann, Austin Stauffer, the Bentlers – Jake, Kenny and Heather, Kem Davidson, and Ryan Eastin. A special thank you to Kenny and Heather Bentler for all their extra work and helping making this another successful event.

It takes everyone involved to keep a great event going and continuing the success of the event. Thank you all,
