Roger C Terwilliger, 73, of Loveland passed away August 19, 2016 just shy of his 74th birthday.
Roger was born in Iowa to John and Rita (Depew) Terwilliger. He married the love of his life Theresa C Evans on November 25, 1961 together they raised 3 kids.
Roger was the most caring and giving man he wasn’t a wealthy man but he was always the first to be there when someone needed help, he was the type of man to give you the shirt off of his back, and he will truly be missed from all the knew him.
Roger loved boating, fishing, and doing his puzzles, he always dreamt of owning a corvette and now you can have anyone you want Dad.
The love of his life passed away in 2001 and that affected him deeply, he missed her terribly, but now they are reunited forever. Roger retired from Climax Molybdenum where he worked for many years. Roger moved from his home in Kremmling that he shared with Theresa in 2005 to Loveland Co. This is where he would call home until he passed.
Roger leaves behind loving sons Richard (Lisa) of Kremmling and Michael (Lainey) of Windsor, Sister Jan, halfbrothers Douglas, Randy, David and John all of IA. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He also leaves behind his beloved cats Pumpkin and Peanut who he loved more than anything, and they will truly miss him. He also leaves behind many special friends who spent many hours talking, listening to records together and going out for breakfast.
Roger is preceded in death by his wife Theresa, daughter Cherylanne, parents Rita and John, and his aunts and uncles, and grandparents. We will forever be greatful for having Roger in our lives Heaven really did receive a great man when he passed. Roger we know you are happy and healthy now go and catch yourself some big ones you deserve it. Forever loved and missed. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in honor of Roger to the Fort Collins Cat rescue.
Services are September 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Viegut Funeral Home on 1616 N Lincoln Ave in Loveland, CO.
