Kremmling Chamber Chat

By Shelly McManus, Director

Well here it is, June 1st already and Kremmling Days is a short two weeks away! There are a couple things that we would like to address regarding this year’s Kremmling Days.

1.) We’re bringing back the Street Dance on Saturday night with Left of Centre playing. Many of you may have boogied to this band at Toby Keith’s Bar and Grill in Las Vegas.

2.) We are also bringing back the expanded beer garden to allow people to walk around freely with their families enjoying food and beverages while being able to shop the vendors, enjoy the Kidzone, and take part in games and the Street Dance.

3.) Pre-Registration is now open for the parade, Cliff Golf, and the Mustang Mile. Anybody who pre-registers at the Chamber for Cliff Golf before Saturday, June 17th will receive one extra golf ball.

4.) Vendor booth space is still available and the booth fee is discounted from last year’s fee.

5.) Sponsorship opportunities are still available as well. It’s not too late to get your name out there.

6.) We will be needing many volunteers to cover the gates, Kidzone, and the beer garden at Kremmling Days as well as the beer garden at the Redneck Mudshuffle. All people associated with the beer gardens must be TIPS or RAST trained. This is a great way to get some community service hours if you need them!!! Contact me at 970-724-3472.

7.) The “Fun Shoot” by Rocky Mountain Armament returns on Father’s Day. Bring your Dad to Mulberry Hill to shoot machine guns, and other artillery. Call Bill Simms at 303-880-0448 for more info.

8.) Congratulations to Tim and Tami Menhennett The Grand Marshall’s of this year’s parade.

9.) We’ve tallied the votes for the parade royalty this year and we’ve added a “King”. The winners are:

Queen – Kayla DeSanti

King – Shawn Mahorney

Attendants: Jacey Murphy & Emma Auger

10.) Last but not least, we are adding a “Chillax” tent. This was the brainchild of Brenda Kellan from Omni Real Estate. The tent will be set-up in close proximity to the Kidzone activities so that parents may watch their kids play in shaded comfort.
