Before Spring Break, 4th, 5th, and 6th graders attended a presentation given by Chris Anthony (a famous skier who’s been featured in Warren Miller Films) about peer pressure and group think. All the students got an autographed poster from him.  Rachel Waltman, West Grand’s art teacher, was the one who put it all together.  Anthony is in the back with a hat on.

Students interested in cheering or dancing for the West Grand High School cheer team during the 2017-2018 season are invited to attend a spirit team clinic. This three day clinic is free to attend and will give an insight to what it is like to be a part of the High School Spirit Team. The focus of the clinic will change each day: on Monday, April 3, cheer and stunting will be covered, on Wednesday, April 5, POM and dance will be taught, and on Thursday, April 6, cheers, stunting, and dance will be reviewed. For more information please contact Cordie Sherman, WGHS Spirit Team coach, at cordiejane87@gmail.com.
