Grand County fifth graders attended the annual Law Day on Thursday, May 5. The fifth graders attended eight sessions. They meet with the Probation Officers/ Child Services, Social Services, ask questions to the judges, hold moot court (mock trial), meet with the county elected officers, visit the Hot Sulphur Museum (jail and old courthouse), visit inside the jail, and finally, outside the jail where they saw the ambulance, police officers/animal welfare, and Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
