Ernie Shearer a Kremmling Native and Lifelong Resident passed away on April 22, 2016
Ernie was born to Ernest (Jiggs) and Loretta Rohracher Shearer on May 17, 1932 in Kremmling Co. Ernie the first of four children born to Jiggs and Loretta was raised up the Troublesome Valley. He attended the Paramount School on the Troublesome. Ernie spent his youth working with his parents on the ranch and hunting.

Ernie married Patricia (Patty) Kilker on May 17, 1950. They had four children, Bill, Jacie, Wade, and Ty.
Ernie worked in the ranching and construction industries. He worked for Chub and Helen Kilker up the Williams Fork. He worked for Bob and Joan Flannigan in Heeney, Co. Among many of the construction jobs he worked on. Ernie worked for Wadsworth Excavating where he helped to reroute County Road 3 (Williams Fork Road), build County Road 30 (Trails End Road), build the railroad grade for Henderson Mill, and helped to build Ute Pass Road. Worked for D.H. Blattner helping to build Wolford Dam. Ernie worked for L.G. Everist now Everist Materials LLC. After retiring from Everist, Ernie continued to work running his Dozer on Rendezvous, Lakota and the Granby Airport. He later went to work for Mountain Park Concrete working in the pit in Parshall, Co.

As many have shared Ernie was a very tough, loving, honest and hardworking person and will be greatly missed.

Ernie is survived by his brother Lyle (Acie) Shearer of Denton Neb. His two sons Bill (Malva) Shearer of Kremmling, and Ty (Shannon) Shearer of Parshall. Grandchildren Kem (Brett) Davidson, Kris (David) Moore, Mike (Rhonda) Shearer all of Kremmling, Skylar Shearer and Creyten Shearer of Parshall. Great Grandchildren Jordan (Shea) Meeks of Baggs, Wy., Reno Davidson of Grand Junction, Co., Dillon Wilson of Craig, Co., Gabby Wilson of Kremmling, and Mikayla and Wyatt Shearer of Kremmling. And several nieces and nephews.
Ernie is preceded in death by his parents Jiggs and Loretta Shearer, Wife Patty Shearer, Daughter Jacie Shearer, Son Wade Shearer, Brother Frank Shearer and Sister Lenore Campbell.
