The Elevation Festival once again delivered on its promise, “to celebrate all of God’s goodness in Grand County.” The totally free event was conceptualized last year when an anonymous benefactor wanted to bring a faith-based event for all ages to the Kremmling community.

This event is truly a blessing for all the community. Thanks to everyone who helped bring it together,” said Dennis Carpenter who has helped organize the event for the last two years.

Over 1000 people attended the two day event and their enthusiasm was not dampened by Saturday’s afternoon rain. Concert goers were treated to performances by the Confluence Band, Grant Daniel Reed Band, Julio Perez Band, The Color and Plumb.

Tiffany Lee, better know as her stage name Plumb, was the headlining performer and also gave testimony during Sunday’s worship.

Plumb has sold more than 500,000 albums and over 2 million singles worldwide. She treated concert goers to new songs as well as old favorites. Many of her songs have been included in movie soundtracks, and she performed ones that appeared in “Bruce Almighty” and the “Vampire Diaries.”
Across from the stage, the Stunt Dudes performed skate board and bicycle tricks in the afternoon. The event also capitalized on the grassy areas of the Forward Motion park at the high school to set-up cornhole games, volleyball nets, face painting and bouncy houses. Youngsters also used the park’s, skate park, playground and splash area.

The event also made sure everyone was fed and hydrated. Local vendors shared their specialty items from hot dogs to BBQ and free water bottles were on ice in tanks.

Kelsey Hargadine, an organizer of the event, said, “It was an amazing weekend filled with incredible talent that is a gift to Kremmling! We saw many people who came to the festival struggling – walk away encouraged and blessed. That is what it is all about. If we do all that work, and one person encounters the love of God, it is well worth it. Amazing to think God would put on an entire weekend festival just to bless one person- but He would do that and much more to catch our attention and show His affection!”

Although, the dates have not been set yet, there are already plans for next year’s Elevation Festival.
