Each year 4-H members from Grand County attend the District 11 & 12 Retreat held in Glenwood Springs from March 9-11 This year the Middle Park 4-H sent a possible record number of 35 attendees.
4-Hers play team-building games, work on leadership skills, and attend a series of workshops. This year’s workshop topics included dance/DJ, spa/relaxation (making chapsticks and lotions), a State Officer workshop, and STEM. District officer elections were also held, and Middle Park 4-H’s Abbie Halley was elected as District 12 President. Her duties will include planning and helping to run next year’s District Retreat.
