Kremmling Fire and Grand County Wildfire Council, along with high school student volunteers, went to Kremmling area neighborhoods and handed out Firewise mitigation packets for Wildfire Preparedness day on May 6. The packet contained information on how to protect your home in case of a wildfire. Firewise packets are available at kremmling Fire Department or as www.Firewise.org.
The high school students received credit for community service and the firefighters were able to familiarize themselves better with urban interface subdivisions in our area.
