Dr. Jim and Kathie Yost have announced their retirement from the Latigo Ranch, one of the top Dude and Guest Ranches in the country. They sold their half of ownership to their partners Randy and Lisa George. The Yosts plan on spending time with their kids and grandkids, traveling during the summer, and continuing their 40 year involvement with the Warorani tribe of the upper Amazon. Now they will have the time to partake in fly-fishing, photography, attend concerts and movies. The Yosts dream of taking a pack trip without the responsibility of caring for a dozen horses and their riders. Thirty years of wonderful Latigo and Kremmling memories will travel with them wherever they go. Dr. Yost commented, “But I can’t imagine never sitting on a horse in the high country again. Yeah, one ride ends, but another begins.”
