Part-time Granby resident and Houstonian Juli Eichler is pictured with Mayor Tom Clark, and young volunteers Jakob, Lisi, and Brantley Buller of Kremmling. Juli spear-headed a food and necessities drive at City Market in Granby over the holiday weekend. Nine full shopping carts of goods were added to the “Kremmling Cares” Chamber of Commerce Flood Disaster Relief Collection for victims of Hurricane Harvey in Texas. $1000 in cash donations will aid “The Houston Food Bank”, assisting Texans in need since 1982.

Labor Day is behind us and the hunters and leaf peepers will be descending on Kremmling for the Fall season. We are happy to see that the Grand Old West is open again and will be able to take part in this busy season!

We’ve got the Roadkill Supper coming up quickly! I’m super excited for this event! I have visions of locals and tourists congregating in Town Square to share delectable wild game dishes cooked up by local chefs and businesses. If you think you can cook up a mean wild game dish, please enter it for sampling and bragging rights! Contact the Chamber to add your dish to the menu! We are looking for prize donations for the Roadkill Raffle, so if you have anything you would like to donate, please contact the Chamber. Pre-sale tickets are being sold at the Chamber, 25 tickets for $20 and a free raffle entry. The day of the event tickets will be $1 each. Keep in mind that the Roadkill Supper is a fundraiser for two good causes with a portion of all proceeds being donated to Mountain Family Center and Antlers for Orphans. Speaking of fundraisers, there is currently a Hurricane Relief collection at the Chamber for our friends down in Texas. This fundraiser is being coordinated by De’An Ray so if you have any questions or suggestions please contact her at 970-724-1219. Items in demand are baby items like diapers, wipes, pacifiers, etc., personal hygiene items, adult
