of Commerce
I had the divine pleasure of interviewing Mark and Shawna Nelson. Mark and Shawna are both natives to Colorado and have resided in Kremmling for the past 20 years.
Mark has been in this industry for the past 30 years. Mark and Shawna incorporated their business in 2006. I knew they worked with big machinery but I had no idea how many different things they did. Maximum Services Inc offers excavating, earth work, utility such as water and sewer. Maximum Services provides site work services for commercial, residential and municipalities. During winter months you can find Maximum’s crew working on removal of snow and ice control in both residential and commercial areas.
I asked Shawna and Mark to tell me something myself or the general public may not know about their business. To my surprise they told me they are currently expanding their services to include snow making pipeline. Maximum is proud of the employees they have. Mark spoke of the highly skilled and talented crew they have, which enables them to continuously expand and provide exceptional services in every project. Over the past three years Maximum has grown substantially, they now will have 25 full time employees.
When I asked Mark and Shawna what their favorite thing about doing business in Kremmling was, their answer was no surprise. Their favorite thing about doing business is that they love the town they live in, it is the place they have chosen to raise their family and have their business. Mark came from a small town and wanted to make sure he raised his family and based his business in a small town.
Maximum Services is a very family oriented business. When Mark and Shawna are not working you can find them attending their children’s school and sporting events, rock crawling, snowmobiling, scuba diving and skiing. Sounds to me like they know how to enjoy life to the fullest!
Maximum Services Inc projects consist primarily from repeat customers. Projects usually range from 1 month to 3 years. Currently you can find them finishing up a job for the Town of Kremmling building a water pipeline replacement project.
I had an excellent time getting to know Mark and Shawna during this interview as well as visiting their job site and seeing what they are working on.
On behalf of the Kremmling Area Chamber of Commerce we would like to thank you for your excellent work in our community.
