The Town of Granby approved a motion at their September 13, 2016 Board of Trustees Meeting, to continue negotiations with Sun Communities, Inc. to build a resort style RV/Campground at the Town’s recently purchased 1,500 acre open space – currently referred to as Granby Trails.
A leader in the RV/Campground industry, Sun Communities, Inc. proposal includes; 970 RV, tent, and park model cabin style campsites, an equestrian center, and an indoor water park – built approximately on 270 acres of the property. In addition to increased tourism and tax revenues, this project is anticipated to bring 50-75 new jobs to the community.
