Road closures are expected for a cross country meet on Saturday, September 22. It will be the first time Kremmling has hosted a cross country meet.
West Grand High School has been working with the Kremmling Police Department and the Department of Public Works to determine necessary road closures for the course. Drivers are encouraged to detour around the race area. Jackson Avenue will be closed from Central Avenue to 21st Avenue from approximately 9:45 a.m. to 1p.m. There will also be road crossings on County Road 22 in two places, one halfway between the two cattle guards, and the second at the cattle guard near Jackson Avenue and CR 22.
Drivers are encouraged to slow down as they cross these two places on CR 22, as high school and middle school runners will be competing in this area.
Any further questions can be answered by contacting the Kremmling Police Department and/ or the West Grand High School.
Everyone is encouraged to come watch the first home cross country meet in West Grand’s History!
