Shirley Johnson recalls her summers at the Hotel Eastin with her Aunt Marie and Uncle Lum. She is pictured holding their picture with Maryann Van Lue, who currently owns the Hotel Eastin with her husband Walt. Shirley also gave the Van Lues many other pictures to display in the hotel.

Before the Granby Reservoir was built, the Knight Ranch was nestled on the Colorado River South Fork. Today it is under the chilly water of Lake Granby.
