On Wednesday, October 25, the premiere of The Colorado Experience: Doc Susie, was held at the historic Adolfs event center and tavern in old town Winter Park. The event was attended by 85 Grand County history buffs, and consisted of the premiere of the short documentary and a Q&A session led by Tim Niklas of the Grand County Historical Association. This short film celebrates the life and accomplishments of Doctor Susan Anderson, who was a pioneer, not only in Grand County but in medicine and women’s rights. This informative and inspiring presentation, which features appearances by Grand County residents Ida Sheriff and Tim Niklas, can be viewed online at rmpbs.org under the Colorado Experience tab.
