The Middle Park Fair & Rodeo is slated for August 18, 2018. On March 12, the Middle Park Fair & Rodeo Board considered a proposal for the demolition derby from Get Smashed owned by Will and Becca Jones. Get Smashed, the annual producer of the popular event, said earlier that they would not be organizing the event this year and wished to find a successor. However, Get Smashed submitted a proposal in February, and the fairboard is now expected to finalize the contract with Get Smashed in the upcoming weeks.
