Veterans from the Warrior Expeditions program arrived in Grand Lake
on July 10. These hikers are conquering the 3,100 mile Continental Divide
Trail, which begins in New Mexico and snakes through five states before
concluding in Montana.
Founded after World War II, Warrior Expeditions helps combat veterans
transition from their military service through the therapeutic effects of long
distance outdoor expeditions. Good luck to our veterans Jeremy Tierney,
Shawn Hansen, John French, Heath Lanctot, and Brian Flatt as they pass
through Grand County.
