I had the extreme pleasure of interviewing Laura Pettett the owner of Kremmling West End Liquors. West End Liquors was nominated as our spotlight business of the month.
Laura and Bill purchased a home in 2007 here in Kremmling, it was used as a weekend home until they moved up here full time in 2016. They made the move to Kremmling from Parker. Laura did note that they are transplants from the upper peninsula of Michigan. GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Laura had stated that she and Bill had come to West End Liquor on weekends when they would come to stay at their weekend home. Laura and Bill knew the liquor store had been in existence for a long time, so when it came up for sale by owner it was an easy decision for them to make to purchase it. Laura and Bill purchased West End Liquors in November of 2016.
West End Liquors offers all things related to your alcohol needs. Mixers, Beer, Liquors, Wine…..Laura has a great passion and selection of various wines, they also offer tobacco products as well as the warmest welcome. No one is a stranger at West End Liquor.
West End Liquor offers a locals program. Once you spend $500 at West End Liquors you will receive a $25 gift card to use in the store. Laura and Bill will try to meet any special request, they are happy to bring in any request so long as they are able to find it.
When I asked Laura what her favorite thing about doing business in Kremmling was, it was no surprise that her answer was the customers. Laura stated ” everyone is really friendly,
its a great community and we had an amazing amount of support when we were evacuated from our home due to wildfires last year, everyone really came together to help within the community”.
You can find Laura and Bill snowmobiling during winter months, fishing in the summer or hanging out on their deck enjoying the beautiful scenery of Kremmling when they are not working.
