The Girls team rightfully celebrated a double win over the weekend as well. The girls JV played a very physical and intense game against Vail Mountain (there was no varsity game) according to basketball manager Hannah Zagone. The girls took home a well deserved victory of 35-25. The crowd went absolutely crazy when the final points were scored. It seems like that win has set off a chain reaction of good fortune for the girls team as they would then take home another win that weekend. This time, on their home court.

After losing a majority of their games since the begging of the season they were blessed with a final score of 50-36 against Plateau Valley in what many audience members described as an entertaining and exciting game to watch. Watching the girls team prevail on their home turf was a breath of fresh air and a sigh of relief to those who had seen only the losses from the girls. Those in the stands stomped and cheered as the game went on as it was one of the most exciting things to come from their season. The girls will be competing against Caprock on January 26 at home and away at Hayden on the 27. As a team they truly appreciate the support from those who make it to every game and they hope to see even more coming out to support them.
