This weekend, the Mustangs played an effortful, uphill battle against the Oak Creek Rams. This was the Mustangs second league game. The game started with a heartfelt moment of silence dedicated to our beloved Toby Hargadine, an assistant coach for the Mustangs for many years.

In the first quarter of the match, West Grand worked intensely and gained themselves 10 points. The quarter was finished with a score of 10-13. In the second quarter, soaring energy was given, and even a dunk was scored by Senior, Luis Dominguez. Third Quarter became a set back for the Mustangs, with a running score of 27-42. In the last quarter of the game, West Grand played tough, but sadly lost the match with a final score of 32-54. Senior, Austin Stauffer scored 14 points. Sophomore, Alejandro Castano made three points. Freshman, Jesus Dominguez scored four points. Senior, Luis Dominguez made seven points. Sophomore, Charlie Multerer scored four points.

This weekend, the Mustangs will play two very intense games against the Hotchkiss Bulldogs and the Paonia Eagles. Lets go West Grand!
